The Hands of Eve are a fun Melbourne-based punk/rockabilly/pop band who contacted me to do their first promo shoot. As part of my creative process, I immersed myself in all things rockabilly (including dining on cheese-fries and watching Johnny Depp in Cry Baby) to inspire my art direction and wardrobe styling choices for the shoot. We achieved a diverse selection of imagery for the band which included; in-situation, outdoor and head-shots that professionally introduces the band and captures their alternative spirit.

The band was very ecstatic with the results of the photoshoot:

“Thank you so much, we are really happy with the photos, it’s exceeded our expectations. We really appreciate all the work that has gone in throughout the process, the excellent communication & the way you worked the concepts around our sound & style. Your professionalism & passion for your work really shows in everything you do & you have an amazing eye for detail!!”
- Ronelle, lead singer of The Hands of Eve

Special thanks to Soda Rock, a 50′s style diner in Chapel St, for providing the rocking location where we ran a muck with leather, milkshakes and apples. I highly recommend their cheese-fries! Check out The Hands of Eve on myspace. See more photos from the shoot.
