Horror Haus cover

Australia finally has a heavy metal Queen! Billie-Jade (previously Diamond Noir) launches her solo career with her debut single, Horror Haus. The music video is pure gothic eye-candy, featuring corsets, glowing coffins, UV paint and snakes.

I was on set to photograph the cover, publicity photos and capture the behind the scenes goodness. Check out the full gallery here.

So Frenchy So Chic 2017 – Photos

Nouvelle Vague

Elodie Frege – Nouvelle Vague

Parasoles, French champagne and sultry divas – So Frenchy So Chic 2017 came to town, bringing it’s signature joie de vivre to the Summer festival scene in Melbourne. Held on the picturesque grounds of the Werribee Mansion & Gardens, it sits somewhere between an indie music festival (a la Harvest) and picnic, and always an absolute delight to photograph.

Another expertly cherry-picked line up, featuring Deluxe, Nouvelle Vague (fronted by Elodie Frege, Melanie Pain and Liset Alea), The Limiñanas and Bertrand Belin. In my opinion, the food carts deserve to be on the bill too – Crepes, Cacau Macarons, Raclette, Mussels and THAT $100 Truffle hotdog at the Maille stand.

2017 marked my tenth time photographing the music festival. View the full gallery.

Brigitte

Werribee Mansion once again played gracious host to the annual So Frenchy So Chic festival in Melbourne. With an eclectic line-up featuring Soviet Suprem, Lou Doillon, Brigitte and Hindi Zahra, it was a fine day in the sun.

I have photographed this event since its infancy at the Prince Bandroom, and for the ninth time I captured the French festivities.

Marilyn Manson

As Australia’s Summer music festival draws to a close, Soundwave always manages to draw the big names downunder. This year was no exception, with Slash, Marilyn Manson, Smashing Pumpkins and local faves Tonight Alive, I had the fun task of covering the action for Life Music Media.

Here’s a selection of my highlights from Soundwave 2015. View the full gallery on Life Music Media.

Emilie Simon

Emilie Simon – one of my favourite French artists

The heavens opened once again for the annual So Frenchy So Chic music festival, at Werribee Mansion in Melbourne. I captured the French festivities for the eighth time, a selection of my photography was showcased on Broadsheet.

The Dø

The Dø

Featuring an all-star Francoise line-up Emilie Simon, The Dø, La Femme and Francois & The Atlas Mountains on stage, wowing the crowds on the grounds of the glorious Werribee Mansion with a scrumptious selection of food carts, including Cacao Fine Chocolates, Choo La Lah and Aritsan Gelato hitting the sweet spot.

A moment for #JeSuisCharlie

This year’s event was pointedly marked by the recent attacks on Charlie Hebdo, with a minute silence observed by the festival-goers and a ‘Je Suis Charlie’ tribute wall for to write personal messages.

Mariah Carey – The Elusive Chanteuse Show Photos

A Day On The Green

Opening A Day On The Green

Mariah Carey was at her finest as she brought The Elusive Chanteuse Show to Melbourne, with back-to-back shows at Rod Laver Arena and A Day On The Green last week. With Mariah’s charm, wit and diva moments, it was definitely a show for the fans. Intimately set with 3 back-up singers, including Mariah’s longtime friend Trey Lorenz, full band and back-up dancers, this show was all about Mariah’s voice and a good mix of hits from her back catalog. Major highlight was the epic 20+ minute ‘Car Ride’ medley featuring fan favourites, including Breakdown and The Roof, and the Melbourne-exclusive duet One Sweet Day performed with Australian support act Nathaniel Willemse.
