Horror Haus cover
Australia finally has a heavy metal Queen! Billie-Jade (previously Diamond Noir) launches her solo career with her debut single, Horror Haus
. The music video is pure gothic eye-candy, featuring corsets, glowing coffins, UV paint and snakes.
I was on set to photograph the cover, publicity photos and capture the behind the scenes goodness. Check out the full gallery here.

Cherie Currie live at The Corner Hotel
Cherie Currie, the voice of the cult 70s girl hard rock band, The Runaways made her first appearance on Australian soil.
Cherie pulled off an amazing, intimate show at The Corner Hotel, it was as if she had been performing solidly for the past 30 years. Supported by a local all-girl line up, Tequila Mockingbyrd and Wild Violet.

Brigitte commanding the stage at So Frenchy So Chic
Werribee Mansion once again played gracious host to the annual So Frenchy So Chic festival in Melbourne. With an eclectic line-up featuring Soviet Suprem, Lou Doillon, Brigitte and Hindi Zahra, it was a fine day in the sun.
I have photographed this event since its infancy at the Prince Bandroom, and for the ninth time I captured the French festivities.

Emilie Simon – one of my favourite French artists
The heavens opened once again for the annual So Frenchy So Chic music festival, at Werribee Mansion in Melbourne. I captured the French festivities for the eighth time, a selection of my photography was showcased on Broadsheet
Featuring an all-star Francoise line-up Emilie Simon, The Dø, La Femme and Francois & The Atlas Mountains
on stage, wowing the crowds on the grounds of the glorious Werribee Mansion with a scrumptious selection of food carts, including Cacao Fine Chocolates, Choo La Lah and Aritsan Gelato hitting the sweet spot.
A moment for #JeSuisCharlie
This year’s event was pointedly marked by the recent attacks on Charlie Hebdo, with a minute silence observed by the festival-goers and a ‘Je Suis Charlie’ tribute wall for to write personal messages.

Opening A Day On The Green
Mariah Carey was at her finest as she brought The Elusive Chanteuse Show to Melbourne, with back-to-back shows at Rod Laver Arena and A Day On The Green last week. With Mariah’s charm, wit and diva moments, it was definitely a show for the fans. Intimately set with 3 back-up singers, including Mariah’s longtime friend Trey Lorenz, full band and back-up dancers, this show was all about Mariah’s voice and a good mix of hits from her back catalog. Major highlight was the epic 20+ minute ‘Car Ride’ medley featuring fan favourites, including Breakdown
and The Roof
, and the Melbourne-exclusive duet One Sweet Day
performed with Australian support act Nathaniel Willemse.
