Xander Pratt and I transcending time and space
I recently collaborated with Xander Pratt of WTF Bass, multi-talented dancer, rapper & model on this photoshoot. Located in a derelict factory, we spent a few hours jumping out of windows, walls and what must have been a chimney, to bring you these pimpin’ photos.

Live at Prince Bandroom
Lamb (UK) recently reunited, after a string of successful shows across Australia last year they returned to launch their new album. They entranced the Prince Bandroom with their ambient new songs, as well as the classics, including an epic rendition of Goreki. Support came from Brisbane band Oh Ye Denver Birds. CocoRosie live at the Prince Bandroom
Theatrical French sister-duo CocoRosie
wooed the Prince Bandroom on Thursday night with their unique folk-electronica music. Support was from Melbourne garage duo Oscar & Martin and French beat-boxer Tez, who is also part of CocoRosie’s touring band.

Marina & The Diamonds live in Melbourne
Marina & The Diamonds performed her first Australian concert at Melbourne’s HiFi bar on Tuesday night in support of The Family Jewels album. Being compared to artists such as Kate Bush, Florence + The Machine and Lady Gaga comes with great expectations, but Marina surpassed the hype. Straddling the line of indie and commercial with her brand of new wave/indie pop sound – decked out in a Mickey Mouse jumpsuit, Marina played a powerhouse set to the Diamond-cultists of Melbourne. My personal favourite was Shampain, youtube it. One to watch in 2011! Support was from lively Melbourne pop band Strange Talk. I covered the show for LifeMusicMedia, check out my photos.
Boho Ball punter
The bi-annual Bohemian Masquerade Ball rolled into Melbourne at the beautiful Thornbury Theatre. The event showcased a whole range of performers from gypsy bands, burlesque dancers, acrobats, poets and installation art. I covered the show for The AU Review and LifeMusicMedia, check out my photos if you dare!
So Frenchy So Chic took over the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne for the second time in 2010, for a double bill of Melanie Pain (Nouvelle Vague) and my favourite French chanteuse, Emilie Simon, entranced the audience with their quirky sounds. I coverered the show for Beat Magazine

Angus & Julia Stone
Angus & Julia Stone kicked off their sold out Big Jet Plane tour in Melbourne on Wednesday night at the stunning Palais Theatre. With a beautiful stage set-up, like a campfire in the Australian bush, they played a concise set-list of songs from their albums, as well as folk-style covers of Living on a Rainbow
and You’re The One That I Want
