Cherie Currie live at The Corner Hotel
Cherie Currie, the voice of the cult 70s girl hard rock band, The Runaways made her first appearance on Australian soil.
Cherie pulled off an amazing, intimate show at The Corner Hotel, it was as if she had been performing solidly for the past 30 years. Supported by a local all-girl line up, Tequila Mockingbyrd and Wild Violet.

The keyboard headstand
MUTEMATH played their first ever (sold out) Melbourne show at The Corner Hotel. With a 26 song setlist including Odd Soul and Spotlight, the two-hour high energy show with air mattress surfing and keyboard headstands, punters and photographers alike were left satisfied.

I shot the Jeff Martin gig at The Corner Hotel for LifeMusicMedia
on Friday night – and WOW, what a show! ‘Morocco’ was the perfect opener and succeeded with a mix of greatest hits from The Tea Party and The Armada. The support act, Pear, was a surprise discovery – her folk/world music was in stark contrast to Jeff’s intense orient-tinged rock, but somehow perfectly fit the bill. Check out my photos here
